Child Care Academy is dedicated to promoting academic achievement & developing self-esteem to help children reach their dreams.

Child Care Academy is an early learning center dedicated to each child’s educational journey. Developing a positive and fun way of learning will help guarantee a solid foundation for your child’s continuing education. Our focus is to help a child believe he/she is able to achieve. We do this by building a positive sense of self and providing the knowledge to succeed. Our curriculum focuses on helping children know how to function in a structured school setting, also including Spanish, computers, music, physical health and safety, and Arts & Crafts. Our Pre-School program also works with children on Phonics, Identifying upper case and lower case letters, and writing, helping them identify where they should be used appropriately. We also teach our preschoolers basic understanding of addition and subtraction, sequencing, and creating graphs. The children will also understand the concept of seasons and weather associated. The ability to identify Colors and numbers visually and in the written form. We also offer an optional spiritual program which teaches children about values and Christians morals. The spiritual program is conducted in a separate location within our facility. We are nationally accredited by the NCCA association, and follow their code of ethics with pride. We want to work with all family’s and community members. Studies have shown that children learn the most from birth to three (3) years, and we are dedicated to enhancing this to its fullest potential. Students educated by our facilities during their early years meet or exceed the educational standards of Delaware.

Our school age program was developed in 2004 allowing children to be placed into a model Elementary School environment. The program is designed for to teach children responsibility and how to hold themselves accountable in an educational setting. We have a well- rounded curriculum that includes math, language arts, science, social studies, spelling, writing and reading. The children will participate in an annual graduation ceremony.

Child Care Academy is a privately owned and operated early childhood education center. We are located on route 40 in Bear, Delaware.
